Hoogendorn Holly Shrubs
The Hoogendorn Holly is a slow-growing member of the Japanese holly Family known for its compact mounded habit and cold-hardiness. Its dense, shiny green leaves resemble a Boxwood, and it's an excellent choice for foundations, borders, or low hedges.
Hoogendorn Holly Shrubs love the full sun but tolerate shade in hotter areas of the country. It looks excellent growing naturally but can be trimmed into hedges or tight topiary shapes.
This is one of the smallest japanese holly shrubs available. Growing to only 2 feet high and 3 feet wide when left untrimmed. Hoogendorn is a male plant and should be planted with other female Japanese Hollies to aid in berry production. Hoogendorn Japanese Hollies are deer resistant and safe to use in areas of high deer populations.
